Speed holes, air gets trapped in the bumper. Drilling holes lets the air pass through and increases areo dynamics.

Or mabye its for looks, I dunno I tried to make sense of it.

I love Rjay's car.. haven't seen it in person yet. Just that tinted rear license plate kinda throws the back end off... but still awesome.

Who's black e36 is that?.. looks sweet.

Thanks man, and yeah, I really, really prefer the baskets with the caps on. Looks so clean. I also spent about 2 hours last night waxing them, can you imagine how tedious that was?

Not at all actually, the car hasn't gotten a proper waxing and polish since last year. The paint is quite oxidized and I'll be dumping some serious money in about a week or so to have it REALLY gleaming deep. By Bimmercruize in October the car will look showroom clean, I'm replacing/repainting a few little things. Since I'm a pic whore, expect a whole lot of 56K slaughtering when it's done. Thanks for the comments too man, getting compliments on a basically stock looking E30 is making me happy. Gotta keep them clean, which I gotta say, the other E30's on the cruise were too. Andrew's car (the bronzit) has huge plans, Seb's 'ix looks tits as it is, and Terry's car has I think blown everyone away with the change since when he bought it. The thing was downright scary, do you guys remember the rust? Great job guys.

I lifted right off on the same bump man, it was scary. Luckily with my stiff suspension I never came down like he did though, that was pretty bad.

Rich's car is incredible man, you gotta see it in person. One of my favourite E36's ever, and that's A LOT of cars to compare it to. The black car is Revshot's, he came all the way from Niagara for the cruise.
