Using Quick Detailer

a couple of questions. I bought my 2002 325i (titanium)a couple of weeks ago. The body was in excellent condition with great shine.(previous owner just waxed it before the winter with eagle one nanowax)
the question i have is would it be good to use maguires quick detailer after everywash thru out the winter or is it better to use something else until my next wax(in the spring). Plus can you spray the QD on headlights and grill or do I avoid these areas.
Thanks in advance for your advice. If any one else has a great suggestion on keeping the shine going in between wax jobs then i would appreciate all and any advice.

I clean my wheels everyday (when it's warm!). Makes it an easy and quick job. Spritz some QD and wipe. I don't bother with it on the body in winter. Just tough it out, then clay and carubna come spring!
