Tire Shops to Mount Rims & Tires?

So I was told that some tire shops actually leave a scratch on rims when they mount/dismount tires.

From my understanding I guess it's the kind of machine they use and that there are other places out there that won't leave a scratch on the rim.

Can anyone recommend any tires shops?

It all depends on the machine, i can safely mount tires up to 17"
