Headlight Switch Bulb
Where can I find the Sylvania 2721 bulb that's needed for the back lighting of the headlight switch? I went to CT and they didn't have it. Any other suggestions (apart from the dealership)? Does Home Depot carry automotive lighting stuff?

The dealer can't be much more expensive than anywhere else.
I've bought tail light bulbs at the dealer, wasn't anything crazy.

It's not the price, I've heard the Sylvania 2721 lasts much longer than the OEM bulbs. Something about the filament in that one doesn't handle vibrations too well or some shit. If I can't find it at Home Depot I'll definitely hit up the dealership.

Yup, I checked it out on Sylvania's website just after posting this thread. Thing is I've never seen that type of bulb at CT or anywhere else, I'm hoping Home Depot has it as I wanted it done tomorrow.
I shall report back with my findings tomorrow Cap'n!

Well Home Depot, CT, and PartsSource didn't have it. Off to BMW of Mississauga tomorrow to grab it.

I read those same threads on Bf.c, whatever. I bought the OEM bulb and put it in this summer, we'll see how long it lasts.

Did you try Napa?
EDIT: Googled the bulb, appears to be a standard wedge bulb, try Traction on Atlantic Drive & Shawson in Mississauga, they have hundreds of bulbs in stock (heavy truck parts place, TONS of bulbs).

Just grabbed it from the Stealer. 3 bucks for a tiny little bulb that's barely the size of my thumb nail.

lol, don't feel bad. When I bought my M3, the first night I discovered that 75% of the interior bulbs were blown. Spent like $35 on little tiny bulbs at the dealer.

^^^ they don't last because it's on ALL the time. I changed mine to LEDs, but in order to get bright enough illumination, I ended up using a bunch of them. Think in the region of 15 individual LEDs... not worth the effort IMO unless you're going for a colour change.
