Yup, and the Performance package also had a 300rpm higher redline. I'm not sure if the Canadian models got it, but like mentioned above the US Spec received red gauge needles vs the orange ones.

1) M-Sport package was $5200 (CAD). When M-Performance Edition came out for Year 2004, it was around $7,000 (CAD).

2) Both M-Sport package and M-Performance Edition have firmer Sport Suspension Level II (the same as US' ZHP). Definitely an improvement over normal sport package's level I suspension (I owned both).

3) For model Year 2003 in Canada, M-Sport package came with short shifter.
Also new for 2003, was Silver aluminum cube trim (instead of the black cube in 2002) .... love silver cube ... I get lots of compliments on it.

you guys should ask me, the sucker who paid extra for the ZHP package. In august 2004, I purchased a brand new 2004 saphire black 330ci with premium package, metallic paint, and adaptive headlamps, and the M performance package. Except I remember paying closer to $9000... I don't remember exactly, I have to check my bill of sale.

After driving the normal 2004 330ci, and then an M Performance, I was sold completely. worth every penny. The car is seriously under rated. The difference between a normal 2004 330ci 6spd and the 2004 M performance 6spd was night and day to me Handling, throttle response, sound, accleration was a noticeable difference!! They even flashed my computer with the Dinan Flash after I complained a little about the dip in power at 4000rpm... Amazing! and wow, that 3.07.1 differential is nice! big difference from the stock 2.93.1.

Its been a hard long mission to let her go, but alas, I need something more practical and AWD for my daily driver now. Probably an X5.

But the 330ci ZHP is honestly an incredible daily driver! As crazy as this may sound, I like the drive, handling, and ride much more than E46 M3 Cabriolet.
