Car: who knows I lost track
|
So went to go re dyno yesterday
Still have some tuning issues with my car. Running a bit lean at idle and I found out that my tuning is only to 6250rpm some I have some more power to gain up top as you can see by the dyno its still climbing.
Last time I put down 292.6hp and 254.8trq. After some head scratching I did the following:
- changed plug to another set and regapped smaller (step colder plugs)
- new igniton coils from Bavarian Autosport
- changed cats
- new fuel filter
- oil change
I think the coils and plugs where the huge difference so make sure everyone checks them when going force induction. I am changing the DME soon and going to re flash my chip that sound be good for another 10-15 rwhp for sure so this is my dyno yesterday. Much much better run. Gain from last time of 25.7rwhp and 20.4 rwtrq !!!

Is that Stage I C38 kit? If it is, those are really good numbers.

Yup it is the stg 1 kit right now. Still some tuning needed to be done which will for sure yeild another 10 whp so when all is said and done I want to be at 330 hopefully. Then off to Stg 2 which I will hopefully see in the 380-390 if I am lucky for once maybe a 400whp with headers

Nice numbers! Do BMW trannys and diffs hold up well when boosted?
I am looking at the twin screw SC from ESS for next year...

Great job, can't wait to see this beast at the local (summer) meets. Just make sure you have an extra belt with you. They tend to go sooner then later.

The biggest problem on E36 is diff mount. You might either rip entire subframe from the floor or you will break diff mount bolts.
That can happen without any power addons.

If it's US Spec M3, then it's the same tranny as your stock one.

My car was a 328 when I start so it was a getrag not a ZF. I agree must reienforce the subframe as I did. Completely reienforced rear end I mean everything.
