Aftermarket deck vs. OEM BMW Business

I always didn't get why people get aftermarket deck rather BMW Business.

But now I don't really know about the quality but aftermarket deck looks so much better.

Can someone please tell me what is the benefit of changing BMW Business deck to aftermarket deck (like alpine)??

Just look?? Let's say I am not going to change any speakers but deck..

I think it will look better but want to know whether that will boost sound quality.

I have no knowledge of sound system so someone please explain me what are the benefits.

I connected DICE so I can listen my ipod in my car so I already have ipod features.

Not sure which car you drive, but decks have a few benefits
#1. MP3 support
#2. It will produce better sound
#3. You can control the sound in the car much better, more features
#4. Updates the look of your interior

but with that alpine you need special wires to be able to still use ur steering wheel controls.

4. HELL NO. I think that deck would ruin the interior. That deck might look prettier when you put it side-by-side a stock deck, but once it's in the car, its an eyesore. Nakamichi CD500 or 700 is the way to go
