How do you make a Music dvd work?

I tried to make a dvd for my in car dvd player and it would'nt play it came up error. Im using nero. any help on how to do this would be great.

I have a Alpine IVA D300 and i'm having the same issue

That's because most equipment can't read DVD-Audio yet. DVD Mp3 too, for that matter.

I think i figured out the problem! i was using CD-R discs instead of DVD-R discs.

All DVD players that play MP3 can read DVd mp3.

I haven't seen this, at least in the car audio world. I just looked at my Alpine D310's manual, it only supports MP3's on CD-R/CD-RW.

Burn a DVD with mp3 to test, but i'm 99% sure it'll work. the d310R does for sure.

no I have seen DVD's work with mp3's no problem, you just have to burn it correctly. You can't burn an ISO with the mp3's, you have to burn a Data DVD with the mp3's and then it should read them. It has worked for me twice.

It worked for me half

I burned a mp3 -DVD for my IVA-D300 and it only shows half the songs

Jay's right. It's player dependent and most players I've seen don't read MP3s off DVDs. This annoyed me and prevented me form wasting my money on one.
