DIY-How To Remove Tint

Well long story short I was nabbed on my way to Bav Auto. My front windows were too dark. So I had to go get it tested at a shop. I had 48 hours and then my plates would be suspended.

So today I took my tint off. It took about 40 minutes to do both sides glue and all.

Here's what you need.

Bought some Amonia and a window scraper at CT ($7 for both)
2 Razor blades for the window scraper, one already comes with it.

1st-Hot water and diswashing soap. Grab a rag and and spread it all over your windows. The heat will loosing the glue abit.

2nd-Window scraper- lift a corner of the tint and pull it all off in one shot.

3rd-I mixed 250ml of Amonia to 200ml of hot water.

4th-Spread the water and amonia all over your window(make sure you have something to wipe off the access on your door cards or anywhere else)

5th-Window Scraper I started from the bottom and worked my way up. This will take the glue off. (use one razor per side)

Once you are done, take a look from the outside of your window to see if you missed any glue, scrape the access off.

Just wash your windows with plain hot water and you are done.
