check out e30tech.com or r3vlimited.com, lots of people from california on there, and it seems as though there's an abundance of e30 parts out in california....

I guess your not into suspension travel or dampening of any kind, beyond what blown stock struts can provide.

no im into performance. im just not at that point yet. i want to have the car mechanically sound before i do any actual upgrades to the suspension and or motor. I know all about travel dampening camber etc... but as of now im not worried about it. i just switched to bmws from toyotas. i had an 86 corolla with a jdm 20v motor cusco 1.5 lsd battle version components/ control arms and such. with paradise racing coil overs in the front with tokico blue struts and trd 8kg rear springs. but that is a different story you dont have to come to my post where im asking for help on something im not familiar with and try to put me down grow up. <3

I kinda wish I was that low.

I would not do a rag top, a lot of mini truck guys do em and its problem after problem.

If you are set on it I think streetbeat makes some universal ones.

All he is saying is that running your car that low will blow your stock struts and therefore give you garbage handling/ dampening of any kind. If your trying to get your car running really well and your into preformance than your first priority should be aftermarket struts.

As far as engines go most of the members on here are from Canada and therefore can't help much but the e30 capital of NA seems to be in CA so you should have no trouble finding a suitable replacement either stock or otherwise

But the car isn't mechanically sound. It has no suspension travel and is pretty much a hazard on the road. If you want to stay true to this statement, get stock springs back on or buy some Konis.
