RIP Punch 45
Well, sadly after 20+ years of use and abuse my poor Rockford punch 45 finally died.

I was driving around today & smelled that funny smell right about the same time that the subs shut down. When I finally got a chance to get out & take a look it was dead. The trunk smelled like electrical smoke & the poor amp was hot!! Sad thing was I wasn't even working the amp hard at all! I'm wondering if I had a wire ground out or something...

Ah well, Farewell ol' amp. You'll be sadly missed!

Those little amps are solid and were awesome. They don't make them like that anymore. I had I believe a Punch 75 for a while back in the day.

What are you replacing it with ???

Damn, I remember those amps. They were huge back in the early/mid 90s...the days of Club Energy and Wasaga Beach. The days when classic house and classic euro were new. We were pioneers!
