I would say do it, but not on a black car, its pointless...I liked it on my white car...

It's not pointless on black. Having a thick band of unpainted plastic wrap around you car is an eyesore, even on my own Schwarz E36.

In my experience painted mouldings tend to have the paint crack.
With the M mouldings being textued if you ever have to repaint them its not going to be fun.

I know, but what i'm saying is that there is not that much contrast as on a light colour car...(white, red, blue etc)...like the car in your sig, from the dissance i cant tell if its painted or not...
