Question what do you guys think of painted side mouldings?

just curious, i'm debating painting my side mouldings body color.. i have a black e36 vert.. going in for bodywork later on today..

should i get the side mouldings painted, or just leave them flat black?

any opinions, pictures, suggestions ..???

i like them on certain cars, ie. black. IMO, you need some contrast to pull off the painted moldings, like dark wheels, dark window tint on light colours such as Apline or Hellrot.

not a fan. I like the black moldings.

Why do you think the E39 has painted moldings, yet the M5 has black?

btw, DRTY, your side markers are upside down.

Personally I also like the molding black.. Especially M molding if ur going to get M molding keep em black.. they stand out more. no point of getting M molding and paint them to match the car.. doesn't stand out as much!..

Also do what you think is best after all it is your choice. unless you want your car to look how other people think it should look!. .Always go with what YOU LIKE!! don't worry what other people think everyone is entitled to their own opinion. as Mentioned in this thread some people like em painted while others don't now it's up to YOU!
