has anyone tried installing a compustar alarm in a 2001 330ci? does anything mess up such as starting, error messages on dash, factory key that has lock and unlock? etc..and what is rolling key code feature?

mine did...

I installed the alarm myself and everything just worked in my 2003 325CiC.

the red blinking light under the rear view mirror does not work when i lock my car? why is that?

that means you do not have a factory alarm installed....the dealer can actually flash your computer so that it does flash.
