angel eyes for e46

first i still have the stock xenon bulbs that comes with the car, i havent upgraded that and im satisfied wit them so im not thinking of going for 8000ks or any other. if im not mistaking the stock 1s are 4500k. ders a whole bunch of different types and the 1 i want is those that lights up like the xenon light bulbs, appearently theres a speciall kind that can be noticed during the day. which 1 is that?. and second i want to be able to just turn the angel eyes on without having the DRLs or the headlights on. so basically i just want the rings to go on. i dont know if i made myself clear (its 2 am lol ) but i really need some help. thanx in advance

They are CCFL angels. I recommend Predator Chromiums. PM Propr'One, I think he sells them. As for them turning on without the lights, I have the same setup. The angels are powered by a relay that's triggered by the accessory lead (whenever your car is on, they are on, even without the headlights being on). To get rid of the Daytime Running Lights (DRL's), you have to get your car programmed to disable this feature. I had this programming done at Cross Avenue Auto for $50 this past spring.

Actually, just saw this post in the classifieds.

Good luck!

Also, I believe the DRL disable programming was only doable on 2001+ cars.

We sell 2 types of Angel Eyes: The Titanium and the Raptor. The main difference is the size of the ring. They both come with a lifetime warranty.

They can definitely be noticed in broad daylight.

Both kits come with the complete wiring harness with relay and fuse protection so that you can hook them up to your accessories and they turn on whenever the car is on (even if the lights are off).

Let me know if you have any questions,

Karim.

Here is a pic of mine;

Chris from e46toronto.ca did the install for me. My car was made in mid of 2001 so the only option I had for disabling the dlr was just unhooking the bulbs
