from what i remember there's little 'doors' on the edges of the deck, you open them up and undo the little screw in there with an allen key. that should release the deck and let you pull it out.
Thats correct. Open the two little flaps at the sides and it reveals two allen keys that permit the hinges it controls to let it slide in and out of the slot.
