Intrest in subframe Re-inforcement ??

I have been noticing lately that many E46's have been coming in with rear trunk floors / subrame mounting's being broken or torn out.

How many people here would be interested in a group buy in the re-inforcement kit and install?

I am working with a metal fab shop on making a bunch of kits similar to the turner one, and will be able to offer these installed for a great price.

Installing these kits need to be done properly, and by a very good welder to have proper strength when installed, and we have installed many in the past few years. Check out our website to see the kit installed on a e-36 which is very similar to the e46.

How many people would be interested in a group by for this?

The price is approx $650-$750 with the parts and install on both E36 and 46.

It is better to do it before it rips out. I did one today on a E46 that was completly torn out on the L/R and it was a big PITA.

DON'T LET THIS BE YOUR CAR!

I don't believe it was "Fixed" the trunk floor is still made of the same thin sheet metal that is easily prone to cracking!

To properly inspect, the car must be inspected from the bottom of the car around the subrame mounting points to the body!

does installing the reinforcement kit void your warranty? I know it would strengthen it no matter what, but does BMW approve of this?

BMW may not cover the section that the re-enforcements are on, but you won't have to worry because there will not be any cracking if you install the kit before hand.

I have installed the Turner kit many times, its a great kit!
