they're still selling 07 models, so I guess not until the 08's are being released, I guess they'll update.

I've driven both. I would have to say that the V8 has that extra something special.

I think next year they're gonna release the 3.0 turbo model. Not 100% on that though.

The V8 comes with valvetronic, so it's also better on gas believe it or not.

I would def get the V8 if I get the X5.
In the US they start at $55Gs, in Canada at $73Gs. We get more standard features in Canada, but I will have to price it out while Im in Miami for a few months and just see how big the savings are. I know there is a huge price diff on Cayennes and RRS from the US to Canada.

if you're gonna buy the car, I would definately get it in the states, I'm sure you'll still save up to 10 grand.

At least 10Gs when you consider tax also.

Any other info from ppl that own or have experience with the new X5?

I think Im 80% sold on it, but that means Im gonna have to sell the M3.
