1996 AUDI A4 2.8Quattro CONCERN QUESTION!!!

I KNOW I KNOW this is bimmer forum.. but seems like no one on VW vortex is able to answer my question.

I purchased Eibach Pro kit spring for the car which will lower the car rear 1.2-1.4 front My question is will I still be able to put 18' BBS CH rims on it? without it hitting the front upper control arms?

first, which one is it, -1.2 drop, or -1.4
Second, what's the offset of the rims you're running?
third, what size tires are you running?

I can't help you anyway, but even someone who could would need basic facts about your car.

Here more info

BBS CH RIMS Size 18" x 8.5
Tires 225/40/18

The Drop for the Eibach pro kit is 1.2 Rear 1.4 front.. that is what the kit description indicates..

Let me know if more is needed.

you need to be specific... do you have the rims already? if so look on the inside of the wheel there should be a stamping of two numbers followed by the letters ET... that's your offset.

Off the top of my head, I don't think you'll have any issues as long as you have the right wheels (proper offsets for your car) and not CH's off some other car with the wrong offsets. The eibach drop is not too crazy and I don't believe it's a whole lot more then the sport package drop. I had the sport package on my old 2001 A4 1.8T with 18" and no issues.

Call Mark at Independent Tuning in Scarborough. Him and Brian are Audi gurus. Only guys I let touch my Audi A6 now.
