BMW to release a twin turbo M5?

Evidence shows BMW is preparing a slightly more evil version of the M5, and this time it appears to be twin-turbos! According to the photographer who snapped this M5 prototype, the engine sound was different from the usual M5. In addition, clearly visible are the extra air intakes cut in the front bumper. However, take a closer look inside the lower air duct openings on the sides of the front bumper and you'll notice a verticle flap which redirects the air flow into what appears to be sitting behind an intercooler for a turbo.

They better do something, that E63 amg i brought to bimmercruise sold me on benzes. It feels faster than a e60 m5, although i've only been a passenger in one.

I have hard time believing what WorldCarFans claim is true. I don't think it makes much business sense for BMW to develop a more expensive M5. A super M6 (CSL) will make much more sense, if there's ever going to be such a car.

If I have to guess, I think BMW is only using M5 as the shell to develop a higher output engine possibly for the BMW supercar.

Its the turbos that make it a sell out, according to people who give a shit about natural aspiration vs forced induction. I could care less if a friggin /M is naturally aspirated or not, but some people do. Apparently, engineer bragging rights about HP per litre make a big difference with some BMW fan-gays.
