For all those who have the M30 AFM Swap to M20 (Help!)

I have an e21 with a M20 installed. I want to fit a M30 AFM to it due to the fact that i can't have the stock airbox anyways, and it's easier to find cone filters for the M30 size.

Anyways, I have everything I need except for a substitute for the rubber boot. Are there any other solutions for this other than getting a custom piece made like Dave did in his write up that is permalinked here?

I know many of you have done this so please let me know.

Buy a NEW M20 boot, sit the AFM end of it in boiling hot water for 10 minutes, then stretch it on using a screwdriver or something to pry. Really not that difficult once you heat it up, and use a new one.
