Help: Issues with warning lights..anyone else with this problem?

Hey all..have an '00 323i with a few minor issues.

Aside from having the airbag light on since getting the car 2 years ago (if someone wants a beer to reset it for me ) ..mom's car always has a x-mas tree dashboard on days when it's a damp morning because it seems to me at least that it's moisture causing it. E-brake, brake and traction lights come on. The lights usually stay on all day till late in the afternoon when it's warm and I'm assuming whatever moisture is f'ng up the car's sensors likely goes away and they turn off. But for sure when the traction light is on, it doesn't work so I assume the ABS isn't as well.

Seeing as it's not my car and my father's friend is a BMW mech that does all our maintenance, who can't repeat the problem to be able to say what the problem is...does anyone else ever get this problem? Or could suggest what the problem might be?

help's much appreciated,
Adam
