computer upgrade

Took my car in this morning for a warranty service and the service advisor said my 05' 330ci needed a computer software upgrade but couldn't explain the details of the upgrade. All he said was it would take several hours... Anyone know?

ok one new change is that both doors automatically lock above 30km now...

on a side note the dealership replaced my whitby BMW plate cover with their own.. strange!

it's most likely a DME re-porgramme, for emissions and stuff,
