Aftermarket Exhausts
Hey any of you guys have any recommendations on an aftermarket performance exhaust for an 03 325i, its got a Stage one AFE CAI, in it already, heard good things about Magnaflow, my buddy's got it on his M3, sounds crazy as for actualy power output I'm not sure. Also heard good things about Eissenman sport systems and Dinan,
Any input would be appreciated,
Cheers,

Have you checked out the UUC exhaust? I bought mine through Tunerworks in Calgary. Shipped to Toronto for same as what it goes for in US. Sounds great, a lot lighter than stock, and some more "umph". Remus also has some nice stuff, but not cat back like the UUC.

Have you dyno'd your 330i since you put the new exhaust in, and how long did it take to replace the stock exhaust.

Active Autowerke and Magnaflow both have nice systems for your car.
There is also Supersprint and Eisenmann.
What's your budget?
Karim.

No dyno before or after. Feels like there is more power, or maybe it is due to the weight reduction. Either way, I'm happy.

My budget, in and around $1500 - I don't mind spending the extra money if its worth it - a good system backed by results on a Dyno

I would also prefer a full cat-back system, as I hear they are more effective than the bolt on exhausts

dont expect HUGE gains with an exhaust....look at those dyno results above^^^ theyre hardly worth $1500....If i were you id do these mods....K&N intake ($260)...Shark injection ($380)....Headers ($200-$600)...and take out both your resonators on your stock exhaust....so for the same amount of money youll have much better power gains AND a nice sounding exhaust

UUC TSE sounds the best imo...dont expect power gains from any exhaust system, just go with what sounds the best. If anything you lose low end torque due to the lack of backpressure (if im not mistaking).

i have a Dinan system on my car and i love the way it sounds, not too loud, but can get rumbly at times. as for games im not sure how much more hp, but its a noticeable difference, but if you want gains than you're better off with some other mods.
