LED Tails?
Since I have to get new tail light I was looking at LED tails (I have clear now), so do they also hook up directly to the original wiring? When I got the clear ones they were plug & play so I just want to know if it's the same for LEDs.
It's for 99 E39 540i
PS. If anyone is selling these let me know, I'd rather buy them locally than on eBay.

the LED tails have a extra module, when you buy the tails from Hella they come with the module & everything else is plug & play, you just have to hide the modules in the spare tire well.

I called Bimmian, clear they can get for sure, LED maybe, will get back to be later today. So if someone here knows another place (GTA/Hamilton area) let me know please.

What about the OBC error? These new lights might cause that, I'd check on here and on BFC to see if anyone has those lights on there 5'er and see if it throws an error.

If LEDs are a problem I'll just get the clears again but is there a place here that can order them & get them faster?

why would they throw a error code, it's OEM parts, and that's is also what that module is for, I've seen 97-99 540's with the newer LED tails & they had no problems, if you want to confirm this PM Rush he has them on his 540.

I've ordered clear tails (non LED) from Umnitza, turns out Bimmian orders them from the same place so I just went to the source
