I'm still waiting to find a factory spec 1991 DTM E30 M3 in some old lady's garage ............. that she'll sell to me for a song........... and it has a glorious racing history to boot !!! Oh yeah, and it's mint, as she takes care of it in fond memory of her late husband. I'm not asking for much..............
Ted, what ever happened with that similar M5 in Mississauga I told you about?? Did you ever go check it out ?? Drop me an email and let me know what happened.

patience everyone! this is a great find! must be pretty frustrating trying to get all the papers for the car, and figure out what it needs, also how can he put a price to it if he doesnt even know the exact specs of the car?

Oh, I think by now a lot could have been figured out. Maybe a little prudence in case someone wants to buy this out from under him?
Anyway, inquiring minds etc. Any news?

are you sure? A car that has been sitting in a barn for 10 years is probably as good a find as a lump of dried horse turd.

Well Mark, that depends on what the horse has been eating . But an E28 M5 will probably cost more to restore than you could ever get for it on resale these days. It's not a '71 'Cuda 440 or a '58 M-B 300SL.
Might have some nice parts though....

Hey OldSchool. Is your real name Keith, from Ottawa? Looking at those M635 and M5, it seems you're "him "...

Nope. Not Keith. Interesting if there's someone else in Ottawa that has an M635 and a euro M5 though.

I know where there is another car like this............. looked to be in good shape........... asking price was $5K CAN. It's just sitting there dying slowly. Could be an opportunity to have both of these cars to build one good one............. for someone that REALLY wants one of these cars.
Agreed though on the restore issue. Would cost more then it's worth. Ask me how I know............. AHEM.......... S14 E30 M3. I burned my EXCEL spread sheet this past summer. Every time I looked at it, I went into convulsions............ considering the current state of my car. I don't even want to talk about it.
