Unhappy Check Engine Light?????

hey guys, can you help, i'm puzzled by this check Engine light.......I recently noticed that the check engine would stay on (at idle) but once in gear and drove the car for a minute or so......the check engine light would disappear.....at time while driving it would come on and then a several seconds later go off.......The car seen to be running normal during this occurence...no rpm flutuation...

I recall change o2 sensor back in April/07....

Thanks,

I realized now after filling with 89 octane fuel at sunoco that i may have a performance chip in the car.......as the engine light came on and off .....so i rushed to sunoco to fill with 94 to increase the octane level.......so far so good.........running fine plus i replaced the air filter.......which looked somewhat dirty.........
