they're made by Hella and aren't out yet. the release date is April of this year

Hi Guys,

Lets rest the case when it comes to pricing this set - I have just been on the phone for the European Distributor of the sets, and he's confused as I am, as not even he has any clue of the price.

I'll contact these guys later today (local Danish time) and dig into what they know.

I'll be back on pricing and so on.

And when it comes to additional pcitures of these sets, aren't there any other than the one you have already seen.

But, being a woman within the automotive industry is sometimes as helpful as "it's a pain in the ...."

With all of the female power I have in hand, did I convince him to either take additional pictures of the set once he has the first sets, or to ship me 1 or 2 of the initial trial tests.

In any case should we additional pictures on the set during march.

I doubt that Hella has done the same stupidity as with the Clear DE version of the Euro eliop sets - where they had to release 2 sets to make it fit.

Later on did they learn how to do it right, as in the Smoked Euro Eliop set - that set fits all e30's regardless of model and age.

Ok first of all this is not a comercial post

But I have an idea that could ease all of this discussion up a bit.

Once we have the final pricing at hand - could I post the price. In most cases are our prices a good indicator of what parts should cost.

And when it comes for the sets for E30 have we been promised that we will be among the first ones to get these sets, so any group buy, or other arrangement is welcomed.

We have a distributor in USA now, and I'm more that sure that he will help in this matter.

In terms of prices does the rumors indicate that the final prices will be within (lowest expectation = USD 299 shipped to highest expectation = USD 499 shipped )

The final prices is to be set by Hella, and often do they have 2 pricing ranges, one for the Euro market and 1 for the NA market.

So until additional news, rest the discussion on pricing, as no one outside Hella have a clue about the price.

Your own guess is as good as the one you eventually hear from others

But I find it as an interesting discussion, as there many other topics to discuss, such as tech, modification of the front, etc.

When these sets are relased will Hella in addition release clear front indicators for E30 - and clear as in crystal clear. They have also released their new side indicators.

Too bad someone broke two of my e30's front headlights yesterday. I wanted to get the euro smoked ellipsoids, but now hearing this, I might let the insurance money go to regular factory one's, and just stick it out until more info on these is out.

hey i just got info that Bavauto sells angel eyes; however, the starting price is $315 and I haven't been able to capture a good picture of them.
