does anyone here have a hood release for a e36?? my wires all mangled! im down to using visegrips to open my hood and a bimmer shouldnt be taken down to such a level
just buy a new one from the dealer . by the time u removed a used one from a car it would be ruined . if u do a search in bimmer forums there is a diy to replace it with good picks . i think my hood cable was only like 40 or 50 $ .

as a reference i had mine replaced at a mechanic and was about $140 US.
I am lucky and my favourite mechanic for that kind of stuff is at a mobile gas station of all places around the corner, they are cheap and honest and do good work
