Hey guys...
I called the office today to see if "SANDS" is available...and apparently it is but it's been like rejected or something? Here is what the customer service guy at the MTO told me during our short phone conversation:
Me: " But it's short for Sandy. "
Guy: " Yeah, but it's rejected because it might be offensive or have a bad meaning in another language. "
Me: "...Ok, *sigh* "
This really sucks. I thought about SANDS BMW, but because it's eight letters already, we're not allowed to put a space...
UGH!!!

$380 for a custom plate?? Gee - I was at MTO yesterday to order one with 8-letters and it only set me back $250 after tax. I remember when they first came out they were only $125!
