What do you guys think of these?

I remember me and Randy had some fun racing one of these in the wago-civic. I personaly don't like the styling. But its only me.

I think they're ok. One think I've noticed around here, there's always a girl driving.

I actually don't mind them at all.... One of the only Benz's I can see myself driving (don't say a word!). I always look at a car as "how much potential does it have?"... how would it look with a 3"drop and 19"wheels? Is it only available in Auto though? It's also not that fast... the guy was struggling to keep up with the Wago-Civic.

I test drove a 6spd one and found it to be boring... I was really expecting some fun with it but I was let down. The finish and interior are all good, but I just can't get over the bland feel on the road. Maybe if it was lowered and had an exhaust and rims it would be better like randy says. I guess it could be made faster with a bigger turbo also. The sunroof was very cool so overall I would rate it as a decent attempt without the sports tuning.

Mercedes is doomed, they have been de-contenting their cars for a few years now to get into the entry level market. I drove that car awhile back, and I will say that with out the badging it could be a ford focus or worse. A winter beater is giving it to much respect. People who would buy that car are typically into the star on the hood more then anything else, I think, maybe a few enthusiasts would consider it…..however the test drive would change that. It may look cool…. however that’s where it ends!

My friend at work has one, 6 speed manual, I took it out for a one hour test drive . It feels ok, not very nimble... supercharger suffers from a fair bit of heat soak. It has some cool features such as heated cup holders and an all glass roof though. Nicely put together but too sedate, let's see if Brabus or AMG put out anything for it.

As far as I know the compact is not coming to the states, and I haven't read anyhting in the Roundel, perhaps the best part about this new Merc is that it will convince BMW to sell the compact here.

me and my friend went to test drive one of those at the MB dealer. they just give u the car and tell u to come back in about half an hour, the MB sales don't go with u on the test drive. we took it to a empty parking lot, boy was it fun, we did a couple of donuts and play around with the car the car is pretty fast but is really loud.
