I haven't been to the track since that time. I have gone to Cayuga after that and fell in love with Drag Racing. I don't think i'll be going to any lapping days

hehe too many turns to go through without bucket seats.

You should come up to Cayuga with me man, I was thinking about going this Friday but just figured out the cruise is this Fri so I'll be going to that. Maybe next Friday?

Question... why such a lean AFR? (Assuming turbo'd) I'm honestly not experienced with BMW engines so bear with me though I do understand turbochargers and engine tuning quite well....

Any chance you can fill me in on a few details? (i.e advance, boost level, octane used, etc)....

As mentioned in the Midnightcruise thread, I'd just like to share my personal experience against Ado's 335i... riding shotgun in RichieRich's (bone stock) E39 540i/6 going at it against Ado's 335i on the 401 back to 'Sauga (3am). 3rd gear roll-on, 3 honks and Ado pulled us an entire car length just in 3rd alone! Increased the gap by another car length going into 5th... very impressive, and nice sound from the stock exhaust. You dusted that E46 M3 too! Props to (finally) BMW-forced induction and Proceed.

I was EA the other day, they mentioned they have done a few of these. They were very pleased with the outcome too.

Hmm I can't remember if I was in third or forth gear with you guys.

I know when I ran the M3 the first time I think we were both in forth but he was at low RPM in forth gear so I took off real fast. Then we did it again he was in third I kept mine in forth and the outcome was a little different where he his front of the car was right beside the rear of my car when he switched into forth and I just kept going in forth.

The 540 was pretty quick though

It's got a tone of power at high speeds.

The driver of the 540i is Richard. He's been on maX since the beginning, but rarely posts.
