$300/set? Hmmm...a bit more then what I want to spend. Was hoping for $100 for the fronts or $200 for all 4.

Does the $300/set guy have OEM ready for trade or do you have to give them yours and he takes time to get it done? I just dont want my car up in the air for more then a few hours.

LOL@300 PER SET.

I can get each calper at 60 ea. So $240 for the set, fully warranty'd.

Edit : he will have them ready and waiting, you just swap your old ones for his.

sliders, boots, nipples, clips, pistons.

Its not as easy as it sounds, it took me years to find someone who could do it right the first time and could offer a no questions asked warranty.

well, for one thing, If you could notice a red burning caliper at night time and away from your car after sprited driving hahahah.

jokings aside, if your caliper starts to seize thats when you start looking for one who would rebuild the caliper.

Sometimes, you could un-seize it then you might even be able to get away without rebuilding,.

The best way to tell, take your pads out, if the driver side pads are lower than the passanger side ( or vice versa) then you defintely have a caliper issue (sticky piston or sliders)

Another way to tell without takng the pads out is if your driving along doesnt matter what speed, and you press the break and feel the car veer to the left or right, you know you have a caliper issue on the side that the car veers off 2.

Pretty simple diagnosis.

Dont get me started on your "verbal gurantee" and how you like to sell the right part for the wrong car. Come talk to me when you learn how to properly run a business. You still doing verbal transactions? or did you actually put some time and effort into a business management system?

P.s A savings of $60 goes a looooong way when your shop does 4-5 brake jobs A DAY!

P.P.S My caliper supplier is the best in the industry, they do Most of the race cars in the touringcar.ca championship, they are not open to general public, and they only do business if you have a substantial amount of work to keep them busy, or to put it simpler, they dont do business with small time champs like you Fil.

If you are stupid enough to think that i would put my business name on the line for a cheapo brake job then you need to smarten up pal. My shop has been here for almost 20 years, why do you think that is???

Mike.
