I dont think it is the 2.3L M3 in that vid. It is the 2.5 sport Evo. So it is a powerful car!

There is no way Camaro can't keep up with 2.5 EVO.
I bet it is just a regular Ford.

Keeping in mind that sure, it's a Camero, but it's still a cruiser. The truck is probably full of crap, everything is beefed up (heavier) all the interior electronic additions, and the cop driving it is probably shitting his pants.

yes I believe that V8 Ford cruizer can keep up with 4 banger on the highway. and if you really believe that it is a Camaro LT1 (which has Corvette engine) you must be smoking crack.

Actually, a regular v8 crown vic will no way keep up with the m3. Have you ever seen a mustang 5.0 on the highway? After about 130, it has no balls. That is the same engine they use in the crown vic plus it weighs a lot more. So maybe your smoking crack.

well you can believe whatever you want, but there uis no way in hell camaro with corvette engine will have problems catchin up with e30 m3, e36 m3, not sure about e46 m3 though.
Damn Camaro z24 will rape your car.

So either it was a regular crown victori, or old school mustang.

Here are some specs.....

The Police Camero weighs just under 3500lbs, 0-60 in 5.8 secs, top speed of 160mph. I'll assume the weight and top speed are for the bare police spec camero with lightbar, and doesn't include all the computer/radio equipment inside the car, or all the safety stuff that is carried in the truck (flares, axe, blanket, rope, misc stuff)

Yeah, I was just watching the video, and I dont think that he got caught at the end! I watched the two parts where he almost got rammed and and the last part where his car supposedly slowed down and they were exactly the same scene, I think he got away?!?!?!

the deal with that whole video is that the kid does get away - temporarily - and the 'brakedown' IS manufactured to make the cops look like they always get their guy (you'll notice that the last scene is the same one were the kid brakes and pulls a U turn). even when the shithead cop looses control of his car. the driver of the car was 15 and the car belongs to his dad. the cop went to the kids home and waited for him to return. he only got minimal punishment for his escapade. and the stats on the car are all hyped to make it less embarassing for cops who couldn't hang with the M3.
