well ya i forgot to add that too...my car is stock height so what is the best for that...

i'm thinking of keeping it stock height for a while because of 2 reasons - 1) it's still kinda my dads car lolol and 2) i dont have the cash for springs, rims, rubber, etc...

i just want to focus on making the car look goood...so anyways back to the topic, i was thinking of getting rims with some small rubber on it....not like the ones on it now..look here...hard to see but you can tell the tires are thick!!

your cars in awsome shape

Id lower it first, if you get big rims without lowering on e30s it looks really really goofy even Mine exagerated the gap a lil bit

B4 rims

PASTA,
You need to first get a suspension done, then you can look for
some bigger wheels. If you wanna make a statement with your car, then I go with 18"x8 wheels. Depending on the offset, you might need to roll the fenders, not a big deal. Best size tires are 225/35 18,....215/35 18 work too.It all depends how much you can afford to spend.

i want to get those thin tires but with a nice sizes rims on the car..

lol and as i said before, the car is still kinda my dads so i dunno if he is gonna let me lower it, even though his a mechanic and can do it himself..

Don't bother. Save your money. There is too much fender gap to put on a set of wheels. It will look like you are driving a 4X4!

And Pedro91'318i I would like to see that! 18's are probably the best. Anything over that is just too much.

Pic of mine (18"X7.5")...

Apex 60mm springs (came with car when I bought it) and added Tokico struts & Tokico rear shocks (blew two in less than a year). So I replaced them with Billstien rear shocks. I have been told that they could have sagged (haven't taken them out in awhile to find out if they did) over time, but they still feel nice and stiff.

Thanx guys! The E30 might not be on the road this summer tho. Got more plans for it (and no i'm not telling). Lots of decisions in the next couple of months tho.
