Fuel Injectors

Hey, does anyone know where I can get my fuel injectors cleaned and tested?

there's probably a thread here or on e30tech about cleaning injectors. they're easy to take out, just soak them in some injector cleaner, maybe?

if your gonna go that far, just buy a set of S50 injectors (19lb) already cleaned + flowtested. i did that with my car, and immediately noticed a difference. car pulls way harder, and seems to rev easier and idle smoother.

when i took out my old injectors, they had a lot of crud around the edge, but the port itself was super clean. so they werent clogged.

Would it be wise/feasible to get better injectors (Design type II as per the performance thread). Is it simply swapping the old ones or does the ecu need tinkering and do I need a fuel pressure regulator?

I ask this becuase I am in the process of rebuilding/getting a new head.
Also would I get better gas mileage with new injectors if I left everything as is(i.e. not tinkering with the ecu and getting a pressure regulator)?

I had the same question about Design III. These guys sell OE Design III injectors. Don't know what it Design III is either.

don't forget to get a proper chip from MarkD for the s/m50 17.5# injectors if you don't want to run too rich
