i know that this topic has been touched 2 many times,but,has any1 come up with unexpensive big brake kit for an e30 non m3.without changing hubs and without spending 2-3 k for a kit.i`v done all i could with stock and just not enough.i track my car a lot and fade is present .curently using stock rotors and hawk blue pads and they are the best so far. they eat rotors when cold and not recomended for street use by me.did a bit of a search and booster upgrade and master is coming .any help would be great.Thanks.Dan

contact Massive Lee. I think his front kit is around $1000
cheaper if you source your own calipers and rotors (he supplies brakets/spacers)

do you have braking ducts? those help.
another option is to upgrade to the e30m3 suspension components(not cheap) - 5 bolt gives you cheap brake options, and bigger variety of wheels to boot.

for sure,but i want to keep my 15 inch Ronal LS and i have toyo RA1`s(just bought another new set ).also,how do i contact Massive Lee?and what calipers/rotors does he use.i have a good source for brake parts,and brackets would be fine with me.Thanks for quick reply.Dan

No big brakes are fitting behind Ronal LS'. The downside to their huge dish (for a 7.5" rim) is a lack of caliper clearance.

Did you ever try the Hawk HT10 pads.

I have tried many different street/track pads and always come back to the HT10s. They are a real race pads but not as hard on the rotors as the Blues.

Lots of people told me that these are no good for the street, but I have used them over and over to drive from and to the track with them and had never any issues whatsoever. I have even used them for Autocross and with great success.

One important upgrade you have to do is to install brake ducts and the duct adapter plate that goes on the hub. This makes a big difference.

I am sure you will have enough brakes for your track days with the HT10.
