Fan delete on E46's

Hey, is there such thing as Fan Delete mod on e46's like there is on e36's??
Cus my brothers car (330ci) doesnt have that fan that sits right infront of the radiator and behind the front bumper but its there on my dad's car (325i facelift edition)

is it just a difference between the 330 and 325? or did the previous owner on my bro's car do somekind of fan delete mod? lol

I believe that all E46s are electric fans. The purpose of the fan delete on an E36 is to remove weight from the belts since the fan is belt driven. Takes stress off the engine. We don't worry about fan deletes on E46s because the fan is electric not belt driven.

Front push fan

I have been working on a 2002 325CI 5Auto and a 2001 330IC 5Manual, I had to purchase 2 front clips (front half of car) one was auto one was standard The auto came with the push fan the manual did not same with both cars, so I would guess that manual cars do not have the front fan and the auto's do for the tranny cooler. Also I could not find the plug for the fan on both manual harnesses but was there on auto car.

Yeap...the 1999/2000s work the same way as E36s. Its a good thing they di this because now we don't have to worry about fan clutches going and Condenser fans seizing.

I believe that Electric fans are not belt driven... only mechanical fans are. Electric fans are just controlled independently with their own system.
