Guys, Princess Auto (click here for locations) has a sale that just started on 1.5ton Aluminum Race Jacks. The specs are as follows:
• Lift range: 3-1/2" - 14-3/4"
• 8-9 strokes to full height under no load
• Lightweight, all aluminum design
Sale Price $98.88+tax
Weight: 27.5 lbs

Get them while supplies last. (they had about 40 left when I went today) Sale ends June 9th! I think they do "rain checks" in case they run out of stock.

if that'll fit under your car, i guess it'd qualify. it looks to be pretty low-profile.

This is the "low" jack... hence the term Racing Jack. According to the specs, it starts at a height of 3.5" off the ground. I don't think you can get anything lower than that besides the factory toe-jack (wind up) style.

I like but I want something that goes higher. My current jack is low enough but only gets to a height of 15". It's a PITA when using jackstands and you have to throw a block of 4x4 underneath to get the right height.

no but it looks exactly like the one Rob posted, but it's white/red instead of black/red, the reason why we have one so low is because some of these MB has airmatic suspension, when they go wrong they drop to the ground, can't even get my shoe under there.
