Waiting for the successor to the E-1 which is coming out this fall. The lenses I will be transferring to the new camera. I will keep the E-1 as a backup.

Also will be picking up Olympus' new lens coming out same time as the E-1 replacement. The Zuiko 14-35 F2.0 This will be hard to beat, Canon and Nikon have nothing like this lens. Ultra fast lens with beautiful boke.

Olympus has some catching up to Canon and Nikon with their bodies but this will be addressed this fall with their new professional body EP-1 but their Zuiko professional super high grade lenses are hard to beat.

Their ED 50mm Prime F2.0, ED 35-100 2.0 and ED 90-250 is 2.8 throughout the whole zoom range and their ED 150mm prime is 2.0.

I gotta agree with you on the Olympus eventhough I only got the E-500 (nothing compared to your E-1) in the Olympus range, the quality of the CCD and the Zuiko Lenses are just amazing. Sharp sharp sharp. It can't be compared to the quickness and the lowlight ability shooting of the Canon tho. Do you have any online gallery? I would love to check out your shots...

To see which camera a person has....thought it was pretty simple to understand.

Holy shit, someone asking people in a "photography" section, what kind of camera they have.

Mind boggling.

I'm surprised you didn't copy / paste a 40 page National Post article about cameras hurting our GDP or some stupid BS like that.

bro, you obviously don't get it. this is an unscientific poll. 10 people questioned, 11 different answers. everyone buys a camera for different needs. plus, who the **** cares what everyone else has. you have what you have because you found it to serve your purpose. I bought my camera this past summer after researching and finding what best served my needs. I didn't ask a bunch of people online what they have to determine my choice. you drive your purple e36 because you like it. asking everyone else on this site what they drive is irrelevant to your car choice.

In addition, bro, its unfortunate that my articles about the economy are beyond your comprehension. the US economy is ****ed for the foreseeable future and its going to affect everyone. perhaps one day you'll appreciate my 40 page articles, as you put it.

enjoy your weekend.

Ever ****ing think, that when you go into a "photography" section of a forum, some people might be interested in talking back and forth about what cameras they have, and what their preferences are?

This wasn't a real poll, do you see choices at the top to select?

The OP said IN HIS FIRST LINE:

People from most photography websites tend to share what camera they use, mostly because they want to compare the quality from different cameras. if someone is taking some clear and crisp shots, i'm gonna ask them what kind of camera they are using. it would be a plus to have a 'database' of who's using what kind of camera.

for instance, if you get smoked by a car during a race and it is something that you've never seen before. i'm willing to bet $100 that you would do anything to know what was the other driver's car

^ there re websites in which industry pros rate cameras using various testing methods. I'd take expert results over unscientific popularity polls any day of the week. here is one site that will give you more usable info than asking buddies on max:
http://reviews.digitaltrends.com/reviews_cat-11.html
i'm sure you can find several more
