Brake dust
Hey guys. i just bought a 335i, its an 07', i love the car, but i have noticed alot of brake dust on the rims.
i am driving in normal conditions and i dont ride the brakes.
Is this normal???

it is normal, but if it bothers you, next time you can shop around for some brake pads with less brake dust

Hmmmm, that would be cool, what i was asking is if it was normal thats all, i dont recall seeing other brands of cars doing that, or atleast it doesnt show up on the rims as much.
I am , however , very happy with the car, that was just a small concern i had.

BMW pads are known to make a lot of dust. They are also know to have very good braking power.
Wash the wheels often and apply wax. It will protect the finish and make it easier to wash next time.
Nice car choice

My sales agent told me they are made of carbon and they produce a lot of dust. Buy BMW's rim cleaner from the dealership, its cheap and its the best.
