Gas Mileage

Hey there just a curious question on gas mileage. What does your 5 series km/litre read on the dash board, year and model #. Mine is a 98 528i. Again I mean on average! Mine is about 8.9L/100 km

my friend gets 9.8 on his 98 528i 5spd

i used to get 13.5 to 14L with my e34 530i touring when she was automatic

now that shes stick its down to 12.7 mixed, if i do city only its horrendous...

same here. i fill up when im at about 550 km, since my gas gauge is broken..

lol works only when it feels like it. and $70 is about average for me as well.

98 540i, anywhere between 350-500km a tank, got drop-in K&N filter, exhaust system & MarkD ECU flash, and my heavy right foot doesn't help either.

Each day I drive at least 70kms, with 50km being highway.

I've got the EAT chip running on Sunoco Ultra 94. I drive spirited (and far) enough to need new tires after one year... though the tires are crappy General Exclaim UHPs.

I get 12.0/ 11.8 l/100 kms mixed city and hwy. On our last long trip, the best I've done was 7.8 l/100 kms on 92 octane pure highway with 565kms before I filled up (no low fuel warning yet). On an Austrian-made M54B30. One of the best 6 cylinder engines ever made!

Long highway drive at 110/120 KPH: 7.8 l/100 Km
Typical mileage going to/from work 9-9.5 l/100 Km
Most of the time I put in 62-63 liters and get over 700 Km on a tank.
