I think its a lot of $$$, but its rare, and if the codition is what they say it is, might as well go for it...Clean E30's are getting harder to find by the minute...A customer just sold his clean IX with 300+K for $7K!!!

not bad looking. like euro said a little pricey. but wtf how much you think you'll be overpaying. couple thousand. i wouldn't mind paying a bit extra for a piece of mind.

K, i found out more about the car, its a japanese import, apparently in immaculate shape.
The car is an automatic

If ive got my 91 318is in the drivway, will most of the parts work for the 5 speed swap?

Some but not most...you need the drive shaft, diff (if you dont like the 4:10, i would keep it if i was you!), shifter linkage (from what i remember)...I think the transmission fits...not too sure, i'm too exhausted to think....

Nah, the 240 won't work as far as I know. Don't bother with that car, see if an importer on your coast can find you another M-Tech II car 5-speed.

Good call, i think i will do that.

I found out the odometer in the car was stopped at 89k, mechanic *estimated* the milage at 150k currently....seems a bit sketchy for an imported automobile....

but im still gonna go see it this weekend i think...such a shame that its auto

It's far from the only M-Tech II car on the planet, there's no good reason to even look at it.

Striker imported a Japanese 5-speed car that looked almost identical to that one for $7000 all-in. On your coast it should technically be cheaper, but the car market there is stupid.

^^ so true, last year i've seen so many e30s in bay area, the lack of rust on all of them is just rediculous, i actually looked under a couple in disbelief.
