Some shifter rods need to be bent I think, where-as some are the right shape out of the box. They're not very expensive; a lot less than UUC for Bavauto. I have a z3 1.9 I'm about to install today as a matter of fact!

you dont have to bend anything if you remove the vibration damper on the driveshalf.

would anyone know the specific part numbers for a z3 1.9 shifter conversion. i've look but i have some contradicting #'s.

was also wondering if anyone here had picked up their parts in a gta bmw dealership.

and lastly on a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being tough how would you rate this as a DIY project?

Thanks guys
