Did you guys wire your tweeters through a crossover? How is it set up from the factory?

depends on what you want to do. the tweeters have their own passive crossovers that are attached to the door speaker; if you pull the speaker out you can see the capacitors and inductor coil on the back of the basket.

if you want to just replace the tweets then go ahead and do it; i just put a pair of clarion tweeters in with the stock tweeter wires, they work perfectly.

if your setting them up independantly of the stock system, then yes, you absolutely need a crossover or you will blow them up very quickly.

What? No it's not. The crossover is built into the mids in the kick panels.
