assemble or paint first????



hey guys, just need to know, is it better to put a body kit on and then paint the car or paint the body kit and car separate and then assemble it?

i have stuff on as temp right now, but i when i do end up painting i will do em seperate.

doing it seperate can be alot easier then doing it as a whole. Specially for painting the bottom of the bumper(s) and skirts.

Just be REALLY carful during reassembly. dont want to scratch the fresh paint

Id suggest putting masking tape around edges where you are working, so if the bumper slips it wont hit the fenders edge and chip the paint.

As I posted before.

Assemble make sure everything fits.
Then remove everything.
Then assamble this way everything will fit properly.

dont skip steps, dont paint things that you aren't 100% sure fit, and be careful mounting painted peices. You'd be suprised how easily things can scratch.
