blew my sub, anything i can do with it?

Well i ripped my sub the other day, its a 12w6v2. is there anything that I can do with it? or just keep it as a souvenir.

if you bought it from an authorized JL dealer, send it in for warranty.

yeah if you didnt, then your screwed. But if so then just keep it as a souvenir seeing as there would be no other use for it.

just buy a new one,becouse if you do a recone it is no longer JL and if you fix it like some have said it throw off the balance of the voice coil...cheers...

you can buy a cone kit from jl, but it will cost you.....

as long as you get a jl w6 cone kit it should be balanced out aslong as you do the job right

my bro's alpine type R 10's surround let go of about half the cone, and he fixed it with Goop. Works fine over a year later. he wiped the excess off pretty good too, can hardly tell.
