Which tires would you choose? Federal SS595 or Toyo Proxe 4T?

If you had the choice of these two tires for your BMW, which would you choose?

1. Federal SS595 Motorsport ultra-high performance V-rated tires
$460 tax in, balanced, installed

or

2. Toyo 4T High performance V-rated tires
$630 tax in, balanced, installed

Hey Maty, long time.

The Toyo's for sure. But take a look at the pricing on the Falken ZE-512, it's one of the highest rated all-seasons and it's CHEAP.

Federal, my dad has them on his A4 back home, its a Taiwanese company, the technology is actually from Bridgestone & Falken, and they use their R compound in D1 GP and it was rated one of the best tire for the buck in Option magazine (All Asian edition)

Toyo is getting slightly overpriced with some of their products.

I have also heard many good things about Federal. A lot of the drift leagues use them in Japan. My friend has them on his STI and he is in love with them.

haha yea, only thing is sometime its hard to find certain sizes here, Federal makes some odd sizes tires, in fact, some of the tire sizes are almost exclusive to Federal, like 165/45/14 etc.

I might run Federal this year too, hope they can be stretched.

also look out for Maxxis tires, their r-compound is making quite an impact in the asian market.

The Federal SS595 is based off the Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3.

I have heard NOTHING but good things about the Federal SS595 and for the price you can not go wrong. I tried to get my hands on a set for my wife's car but the shop sold out of their entire inventory of this tire in 2 weeks!

Go for the Federal hands down.

Just got a set of the Federals.... The tread pattern looks awesome. I'll report back after I try them out.
