OK the trnasmission thing is normal! The trunk thing is not and Idnt really understand the other problems he is avng but the Tranny is normal! My Dad has a 745! His transmission will do that if you hammer down on it at highway speeds it seeks fo the gear for a second. NOT slipping but kind of feels like it! My E30 was doing that too eer since I bought it now mytranny is toast but only because I beat the hellout of it with power brakes and neutral drops! But yes the tranny is normal! Supposedly what the deership told me when I took my dads car in is that it is to make th transmission shift smother when downshifting more than one gear or under hard excellertions you do not get your next snaped back every time the car shifts! Hope this helps!~

hmmm this car is like a Christine (movie)
And yeah I don't get the transmission thing. If you floor it, it will downshift. what's the problem here.
I hope BMW will test their car for longer time before releasing them.

Is it his car? or he just hates the new 7 and trying to pick on it? would u spend time taping something like that if u have a 7 series? other than taking it back to the dealer and get it fixed?

well, its not a SURPRISE i guess, i didn't see the videos, cause i just got ENCODING when i clicked on them, but why WOULDN'T the new 7's have tranny problems, i mean think about it, they just came with the worlds first 6-SPEED auto tranny, and so you GOTTA expect SOMETHING to go wrong!!!

doesnt that dude have anything else to do other complain about getting the shaft from BMW. id go get it fixed or get a new one at BMWs expense. if they messed up then they should pay for it. and its prolly the cars computer which 75% of computers today have something to do with microsoft so its prolly microsoft crap. i hate microsoft!! also on the transmission on when he says hes stable at 60...watch the speedometer go to about 70 then drop to 65

Model / year? I'd like to look this up.
It's really interesting you say that, because the 2003 F-350 Powerstroke has the first FIVE-speed auto installed in a (pickup)truck.
