E30 Cloth vs Leather Seats Question

Are the seats the exact same except for what they're covered with?

yes.

cabrio and m3 seats are heated and I don't know if they came cloth in Canada.

Mine are cloth . That's why I was looking at custom (synthetic) leather seat covers on eBay. I was just making sure they're the same seats so they fit.

The rear seats in the pic are cabrio rears which are different from regular e30 rear seats but im sure that they sell the regular rear covers aswell since they are much more common. The covers don't actually look that bad. Do you have sport seats or the regular buckets? If you have cloth sport seats they are pretty rare and sick I wouldn't cover them as long as they are in good shape.

Nah, they're in pretty bad shape. They actually look different to me compared to the other seats I've seen. Check out the picture below.
